Data Deletion Instructions

For the GTM and Nurture Facebook application, operated by RetentionSystems.

This page explains what data the GTM and Nurture app collects through Facebook, how to request that we delete it, and how long that takes. If you have connected a Facebook Page to RetentionSystems and want your data removed, follow the steps below.

1. What data we collect from Facebook

When a Page admin authorizes the GTM and Nurture app, we may receive and store:

Data	Why we hold it
Facebook Page ID, Page name, and Page access token	To publish content and read engagement on Pages you authorize
Basic profile info of the authorizing admin (name, Facebook user ID, email if granted)	To identify the account owner and support the connection
Page posts, comments, and engagement metrics	To report on campaign performance
Lead form submissions and Page message threads, where the Page has enabled them	To route leads into your CRM and follow-up sequences

We do not sell this data, and we do not use it for any purpose outside operating the service for the Page owner who authorized it.

2. Request deletion

Option A — Email us (fastest)

Send a request to privacy@retentionsystems.co with the subject line Data Deletion Request and include:

The Facebook Page name and Page ID the data relates to
The name on the Facebook account that authorized the app
An email address we can reply to

Option B — Remove the app from Facebook

Removing the app revokes our access immediately and automatically triggers a deletion request on our side:

Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings
Open Apps and Websites in the left menu
Find GTM and Nurture, click Remove, and confirm

3. What happens next

Within 72 hours — we acknowledge your request by email and issue you a reference code.
Within 30 days — we permanently delete the data described in Section 1 from our production systems.
Within 90 days — the data ages out of encrypted backups, which are on a rolling deletion cycle and are not used for active processing.
We email you a confirmation once deletion is complete. You can check the status of a request at any time by replying to that thread with your reference code.

4. What we may keep, and why

A small amount of information is retained after deletion where the law requires it or where deleting it would cause harm:

Opt-out and suppression records — if a contact asked not to be messaged, we keep the minimum identifier needed to honor that request. Deleting it would put them back into contact.
Billing and tax records — invoices and payment records are retained for the period required by applicable tax law.
Security and abuse logs — retained on a short rolling window to protect the service.

If we cannot delete something you have asked us to delete, we will tell you what it is and why in our written response.
